NW Mining & Civil are urgently seeking an experienced driller for a long term project at a mine site south of Mt Isa.

You’ll be working autonomously operating a DPI 1100 rig doing top hammer surface hard rock drilling, the ideal person will have quarry drilling experience in a similar role.

Along with having experience in a similar role, you must be willing and able to carry out basic servicing and minor repairs to the drill rig. This will include refuelling, greasing, hose change outs, shank changes and oil top ups.

The position is perm night shifts, 6pm-6am on a 7/7 roster.





Local Mt Isa or Cloncurry applicants are preferred but a charter flight is available from Townsville or Brisbane. Great camp & meals provided while on swing. Pay rate is $60/hr flat rate.

It’s a requirement for this site that workers are clean shaven to be able to wear a respirator if required.

Please ensure you meet the following mandatory criteria to apply:

- Drilling qualification preferred
- Drivers licence
- Be able to pass medical and D&A; screening
- Be competent on a computer to be able to complete all site online induction requirements
