Recovery and Massage Centre is a sports recovery centre dedicated to improving mobility, performance, and overall physical wellbeing. We specialise in recovery-based services, including guided stretch classes designed to support athletes and active individuals of all levels.

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Stretch Instructor who will also be engaged as a Client Experience & Operations Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients both on the floor and at the front of house, and who takes pride in creating a welcoming, organised, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Stretch Instruction & Client Care

- Lead group and/or semi-private stretch classes in a safe, professional, and engaging manner

- Deliver structured stretch sessions focused on mobility, flexibility, and recovery

- Modify stretches to accommodate different fitness levels, injuries, or limitations

- Educate clients on proper technique, breathing, and body awareness

- Monitor client movement and provide hands-on or verbal corrections as appropriate

Client Experience & Operations Assistant

- Greet clients warmly and provide an excellent customer experience

- Manage bookings, check-ins, and general inquiries (in person, phone, and email)

- Process payments and maintain accurate client records

- Assist with retail sales and memberships if applicable

Opening & Closing Duties

- Open and close the centre according to procedures

- Prepare studio spaces before classes and reset after sessions

- Ensure the facility is clean, organised, and ready for clients





- Follow end-of-day cash handling and reporting procedures

Team & Facility Support

- Maintain a clean, protected, and welcoming environment throughout shifts

- Communicate effectively with the recovery and coaching team regarding client needs

- Uphold company standards, policies, and brand values at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching stretch, mobility, yoga, Pilates, personal training, or related movement disciplines

- Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and flexibility training

- Comfortable multitasking between instruction and reception duties

- Experience working with athletes or active populations preferred

- Certification in a relevant field (Stretch Therapy, Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates, Sports Science, or similar)

Must hold certification in Pilates, Yoga, Personal Training, or Stretch Therapy

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Current CPR/First Aid certification is required at the time of application

Schedule & Compensation

- Part-time hours (flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends)

- Position requires availability for a mix of early mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts
