Martin-Baker Australia is seeking to employ a Trainee Ejection Seat Technician at our Williamtown, NSW facility. This is an entry pathway role where you will learn on the job and assist with maintenance tasks under supervision. Your development will be supported by technical training across a range of systems, including the PC-21 Parachute, Personal Survival Kit and Ejection Seat.
IMPORTANT:
- This position is scheduled to commence in January 2027. Applicants must be available to commence employment from January 2027.
- Applicants must be AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance tasks under supervision
- Learn and develop technical skills across ejection seat systems
- Work with all required Martin-Baker Australia Parachutes, Personal Survival Kits and Ejection Seat systems
About you
- Australian Citizen (mandatory requirement)
- Demonstrated mechanical or aviation hand skills
- Ability to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and follow technical publications
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- A current driver's licence
- Have the availability to commence in January 2027.
