With our renovations now complete, we’re gearing up for a busy season ahead and are looking to strengthen our Food & Beverage team with experienced, reliable and enthusiastic team members who are passionate about hospitality and delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

About the role

We are seeking Food & Beverage Attendants with previous bar experience who are confident working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. A current RSA is essential, along with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

A current RSG is highly advantageous and will be viewed favorably, particularly for applicants seeking to work across our bar and gaming areas.

As a Guest Service Attendant in Food & Beverage, you will ensure the level and quality of meals, beverages and service is of a high standard. You will provide exceptional customer service in all interactions on a daily basis, including anticipating customer needs, and foster a collaborative team environment by uplifting and positively engaging with all colleagues, staff and guests. You will follow all compliance and regulatory requirements of your role including Responsible Service of Alcohol, Food Safety, Security, and WHS.

Key responsibilities

- Meet, greet and farewell patrons and provide prompt, courteous and accurate service including detailed knowledge of the menu, taking of orders and serving food and beverages according to Club policies and procedures

- Handling all customer enquiries with a professional and enthusiastic manner and demonstrating high standards of customer service

- Operating our Point-of-Sale system including cash handling, credit and EFTPOS transactions and membership card discounts

- Clear and re-set tables to established standards and polish cutlery and glassware when necessary





- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation of the food service and restaurant dining areas

- Promote the benefits of membership and usage of membership cards

- Maintain extensive knowledge of all promotional, entertainment, club activities and club operations to provide assistance to patrons

- Adhering to workplace health & safety policies and pro-actively contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work workplace.

About you

- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (essential)

- Some food knowledge and commitment to Food Safety principles (Food Safety Training would be viewed favourably)

- At least 12 months demonstrated experience in Food and Beverage operations - ideally waiting or high-volume interactions with customers (table service experience will be highly regarded!)

- Knowledge of Customer Service Principles, Liquor Act, Food Act and Point of Sale systems

- RSG Certification not essential, but highly desirable

- Ability to interact with guests confidently about food and drink options and deliver great services

- Ability to anticipate customer needs and demonstrate initiative, problem-solving and professional approach

- Be organised with the ability to work calmly under pressure

- A passion for people, teamwork and providing exceptional guest service

- Available to work weekends and nights
