About the role

As the Electrical Leading Hand, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of electrical works while providing leadership and direction to the team.

You will be hands on in the field, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and coordinate electrical trades and apprentices
- Assist with daily planning and allocation of works
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
- Coordinate with supervisors,



other trades and project stakeholders
- Monitor work progress and identify potential issues
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Provide guidance and mentoring to team members
- Assist with materials, tools and equipment
- Promote a positive and professional team culture
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety requirements and standards

About you

We’re looking for a quality electrician who is ready to step into a Leading Hand role or an experienced Leading Hand looking for their next opportunity.

To be successful, you will have:

- Current Electrical Licence
- Previous experience as an Electrical Leading Hand, Senior Electrician or Supervisor
- Strong electrical installation and construction knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A proactive and solutions focused approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Australian working rights
