Leading Hand / Junior Site Manager - Eastern Suburbs - 5 days per week

Are you a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting prospect for you to work with a highly regarded high-end residential builders, specialising in architecturally designed renovations and additions across the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West. You'll be supported in your development by the senior team and molded into a great builder.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise architectural renovation and addition projects

- Complete carpentry work when needed

- Ensure all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard

- Support and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers

- Maintain a tidy and respectful site - especially important when working on occupied properties

- Maintain a protected working workplace and ensure all workers comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements:





- At least 3 years' experience out of your carpentry apprenticeship with experience leading a team as a Leading Hand / Foreman

- Experience working on high-end residential builds (essential)

- Renovation and addition experience preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Eagerness to learn and develop

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Knowledge of construction laws and regulations

- Computer literate
