Our client is a leading NSW Government agency delivering one of Australia's largest and most complex transport infrastructure programs.
As part of a high-profile project delivery team, multiple opportunities have become available for experienced Contract Administrators to support the administration and management of major construction and infrastructure contracts across a large-scale transport program.
The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Contract Administrators to join a commercial team responsible for supporting the delivery of major infrastructure packages.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, commercial managers, contractors and suppliers, you will play a key role in contract governance, payment claim assessments, variations management, supplier performance and commercial reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a landmark infrastructure program while working within a collaborative and high-performing project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage major infrastructure and construction contracts.
- Review and assess contractor payment claims and prepare payment schedules.
- Manage contract notices, correspondence and contract registers.
- Support contract compliance, governance and risk management activities.
- Monitor and administer contract variations and change requests.
- Assist with forecasting, accruals and commercial reporting requirements.
- Support supplier performance management and contractor engagement.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to project delivery teams.
- Build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met in accordance with project and government requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in Contract Administration, Contract Management or Commercial Management.
- Experience supporting major infrastructure, transport, rail, construction, utilities or government projects.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Payment Claims Assessment
- Contract Variations
- Contract Compliance
- Supplier Management
- Commercial Reporting
- Forecasting & Accruals
- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual principles.
- Experience working within project delivery environments alongside contractors and engineering teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities within a complex project environment.
- Exposure to NSW Government procurement frameworks is highly desirable.
- Experience with TeamBinder, Aconex or similar document management systems will be advantageous.
