About the company:

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Head of CT to join our client's team in Campbelltown. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a respected medical imaging department known for quality patient care, strong technical standards and a forward-thinking approach to team development.

This position will suit an experienced CT Radiographer with proven leadership experience, or a highly capable senior CT professional ready to step into a management role while helping shape and strengthen the team.

About the position:

Our client is looking for a Head of CT to lead the day-to-day operation of the CT department while remaining hands-on clinically. The role has a strong focus on Cardiac CT and will require someone confident in complex CT work, contrast administration and maintaining a high standard across all scanning protocols.

You will play an important role in developing the capability of the wider team, mentoring younger radiographers, improving confidence across the department and creating a culture of accountability and growth. This is a role for someone with a genuine can-do attitude who wants to build a high-performing CT service and bring out the best in those around them.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the CT team across daily operations and workflow
- Performing advanced CT scans, including Cardiac CT
- Managing comprehensive injections and contrast-based procedures
- Working with GE Apex CT equipment




- Rostering staff and supporting department coverage
- Upskilling team members and mentoring junior radiographers
- Driving high clinical standards, consistency and efficiency
- Supporting a positive, motivated and team-focused culture

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years' experience in CT
- Strong experience in Cardiac CT
- Demonstrated competency in comprehensive injections
- Experience working with GE Apex highly regarded
- Previous team leadership, rostering or supervisory experience
- A robust technical CT skill set with confidence in complex studies
- Ability to mentor, coach and elevate junior team members
- A proactive attitude with motivation to grow and improve the service
- A commitment to patient care, quality and clinical excellence
- AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
