About the Role

Built in 1887 in the heart of The Rocks, Harbour Rocks Hotel is a Sydney heritage landmark, located just moments from the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We're looking for a Public Area Attendant/Cleaner to keep our public spaces guest-ready and looking their best, while anticipating guest needs and upholding our high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

- Anticipate and attend to guests' needs, greeting guests politely and reporting to Housekeeping any unusual situations or safety hazards.
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including toilets, walkways, entrances, lifts,



and the gymnasium, as per schedule and Supervisor direction.
- Follow all housekeeping, cleaning, and WH&S; policies and procedures set by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Keep the main Housekeeping storeroom clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Assist other departments or outlets when required.

What You'll Bring

- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable; attention to detail and pride in presentation matter most.
- A friendly, guest-focused manner and sound understanding of WH&S; guidelines.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including day and night shifts as required.
