We are looking for a motivated, reliable and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy community pharmacy.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent customer service.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Assisting customers with over-the-counter products
• Supporting the pharmacist and dispensary team
• Merchandising and maintaining stock levels
• Processing sales through the point-of-sale system
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy environment
• Assisting with general pharmacy duties as required

Initial Roster

The role will initially provide additional support while a team member is on leave.

Initial roster:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Following this period, there may be an opportunity for ongoing employment with a revised roster, which may include:

• Tuesdays – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• Saturdays
• Sundays

About You





To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous pharmacy, retail or customer service experience
• Previous community pharmacy experience highly regarded
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, positive and professional attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends where required
