You will work across a diverse range of structural steel projects, producing accurate 3D models and 2D documentation while collaborating directly with clients and fabrication teams.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping 3D models and 2D drawings for structural steel projects using AutoCAD and Advance SteelInterpreting and deciphering engineering and architectural drawingsCommunicating professionally with clients via email and phoneUsing Microsoft Office for documentation and project communicationWorking within project timelines to deliver accurate, high-quality drawingsContributing to improvements in design and drafting processesSupporting coordination with fabricators and builders to ensure constructabilityAbout youMinimum 5 years' experience in structural steel detailing (required)Solid proficiency in AutoCADAdvance Steel experience highly regardedGeneral computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiencyTrade background highly regarded (boilermaker, fabricator, metalwork)Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and construction processesA detail-oriented person who enjoys problem solving and precision workExcellent communication skills, providing exact information via email and phone conversations with a diverse range of clientsFlexible working arrangements, including WFH optionsPaid overtimeOpportunity to work closely with fabrication teams and gain deeper industry insightSupportive small-business workplace with room to grow
