This chance is based on Sydney's Upper North Shore, with work from home flexibility available once you are settled into the role.The RoleReporting to the Payroll Manager, you will join a four-person payroll team and hit the ground running on a key backpay consolidation project ahead of an October payroll system go-live.
Working closely with the IT/Business Analyst configuring the current platform, you will help ensure changes are tested,
reconciled and paid accurately.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Supporting the payroll consolidation and backpay projectTesting payroll system configurations and confirming changes operate correctlyPreparing and loading batch backpay payments into DayforceValidating backpay calculations and ensuring employees are paid correctlyComparing current calculations with historical payroll transactions to identify discrepanciesPerforming sample testing on known configuration changes and investigating variancesProcessing, testing and reconciling backpay transactions in DayforceYour BackgroundTo be considered for this Payroll Officer prospect, you will bring:Several years of hands-on payroll experienceA sound understanding of end-to-end payroll and superannuation processesConfidence jumping on the tools and supporting a fast-moving projectDayforce payroll systems experience is preferredStrong attention to detail, reconciliation skills and clear communicationAvailability to work full time from the Upper North Shore office, particularly while onboardingThis is a temporary opportunity transitioning to a fixed-term contract of up to six months.
