Skilled Wind Services - Cement Mills QLDMuehlhan Wind Service are seeking applications for several Installation Technicians to join our team.These positions will be based at Macintyre Wind Farm, west of Warwick Queensland, and Boulder Creek Wind Farm, near Rockhampton.The successful applicants will perform the following duties:Installation, including mechanical and electrical completion of WTG'sAssembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing wind turbines to conform with regulations and safety standardsInspecting wind turbine components to ensure equipment is not damaged or faultyInspecting equipment to ensure proper operation and setting operationsUse of tension and torque hydraulic calibrated toolingPreparation of main and minor WTG componentsCompleting of required reports on tasks undertakenCompleting of site specific construction or maintenance works as required by Muehlhan Wind Service of the clientComplete Quality Assurance (if required)Undertake additional supervisory roles (for applicant with appropriate experience)The successful applicants must have:A Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or at least three years of relevant experience in the wind industryCurrent GWO BST Certificate (with a minimum of 6 months validity, or willingness to obtain)GWO BTT (an advantage)White CardBe willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, and national police checkGreat people/communication skills and able to work in a teamNordex and/or GE Experience (an advantage)Valid working rights in AustraliaFull time employment working on average 38 hours per week.
3 weeks on, 1 week off rotation.
