You will be part of the site emergency response team by providing first response to all incidents and will be responsible for supporting the site training and HSE activities.This role offers a roster providing work life balance off – 7 on/ 7 off roster with both day/night rotations.
This position is based in Moranbah QLD and is a FIFO role for those who do not reside locally.Duties include but are not limited to:Provide first response to incidents and injuries on siteAssist a team of paramedic,
nurses and ESOs to respond to emergency activations under the direction of the SEM SupervisorAssist in injury management and return to work duties for injured/ ill workersConduct drug and alcohol testing and fitness for work assessmentsMaintain site clinic standards, including auditing and ordering of drugs and equipmentAssist with training and HSE activities as required (such as PPE fit testing)Working with the site Health teams to promote health initiatives on siteSkills & experienceBachelor of Nursingcurrent AHPRA registrationMinimum of two years' experience in EDRural/ remote nursing experience highly desirableHLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testingAustralian drivers licence - C class, open licenceFull Australian Work RightsCurrent up to date immunisations - tetanus, hepatitis A&BComputer; literacy in Microsoft Office SuiteAll successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and National Police check
