With a growing pipeline of volumetric modular developments ranging from 5 to 30 storeys, we are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our Construction team.This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process across the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are optimised for manufacturing, transportation, installation, and construction delivery.Working closely with architects, consultants, manufacturers, contractors and internal project teams, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of some of the region's most significant modular construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams through all project phasesManage design development in accordance with MMC and DfMA principlesDrive design quality, compliance, risk management and constructability outcomesManage design interfaces between factory manufacturing and onsite constructionCoordinate design reviews, approvals,



technical governance and documentationCollaborate with manufacturing and project delivery teams to optimise project outcomesSupport procurement, fabrication, testing, commissioning and installation activitiesBuild and maintain solid relationships with consultants, contractors and key stakeholdersContribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the businessAbout YouDegree qualified in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline3+ yearsexperience in design management within construction or property developmentExperience in modular construction, prefabrication, industrialised construction or DfMA highly regardedStrong understanding of design coordination, compliance and construction deliveryExperience managing complex stakeholder groups and design teamsKnowledge of BIM and collaborative digital delivery environmentsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsWhy Join VERSO?
