Synergie Australia is seeking an Estimator for our State Government client located in Cairns
n
The significant parts:

Start date: ASAP - 3 month contract with possible extensions
n
Supportive and friendly team workplace.

Must have Australian work rights and be a permanent resident (Working Holiday Visa holders need not apply)

What you will be required to do:
n
n
Produce high quality tender and quotation documentation for building projects and prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations and project trade packages; including material lists and construction programs.
n
Coordinate and undertake the delivery of a high-quality condition assessment services for clients, including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials including collecting samples of suspected asbestos containing materials for laboratory testing.
n




Undertake inspection services including tenancy management services and maintenance referrals on behalf of Government Employee Housing.
n
Maintain a healthy and secure work workplace, ensuring compliance with current human resource practices and principles, including employment equity, anti-discrimination and workplace health and safety.

To be successful in the role you will:
n
n
Have previous experience providing quotes and estimates whether as an Estimator in another company or within your own trade work
n
Experience using an estimating computer package such as Cost-X
n
Have full working rights in Australia
n
Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work and enjoy working mainly within an office (with occasional visits to sites)
n
Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role.
