DBI is a multi-disciplinary design firm specialising in Interior Design, Architecture and Landscape Architecture.

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with 10 years' experience to work on a range of exciting large scale residential as well as hospitality projects out of ourGold Coast Studio.

With an immediate start, we are looking for a talented and design focused candidate for this senior appointment:
n
The Role
n
Create and lead projects from start to finish, through the stages of Concept Design to Construction Documentation as well as Construction Services, in a team setting.
n
Interface and communicate with clients and consultants at a senior level.
n
Translate client briefs into resolved and inspiring design outcomes.
n
Collaborate with all design disciplines within our practice.
n
Communicate effectively at all levels with other personnel within the studio.
n
Skills and Experience
n
10 years of interior design experience in high rise residential and hospitality sectors
n
Revit and /or AutoCAD
n
Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
n
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook )
n
Building technology, fabrication techniques and materials used in medium to large scale projects.
n
To be successful in this role you must be acollaborative and motivated person, demonstrating the following qualities:
n
Recognised academic (Bachelor Degree) qualifications in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
n
Excellent visual and interpersonal communications skills
n
High attention to detail
n
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a wide-ranging workload
n
Ability to work to deadlines
n
This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm in our Gold Coast Studio.
