We are working on an excellent 12 month contract role for a property lawyer, with experience in leasing. Our client is a global investment company that owns, develops and operates media infrastructure. Their Australian operations are experiencing growth and the legal team is expanding. They are looking for a legal counsel experienced in real estate and leasing to assist a busy team.

Role description

This is a parental leave cover for 12 months, with potential to become permanent.
n
You will be independently managing transactions from end to end, drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including heads of terms, NDAs, framework agreements, licences and other real estate documents.
n
Managing approvals and processes for transactions
n
Advising on key legal issues and risk management
n

About you
n
n
At least 4 - 8 years PAE
n
Experience in property, leasing and retail leasing
n
Knowledge of corporate law and dispute
resolution/litigation
highly desirable
n
Ability to run matters autonomously with minimal supervision
n
Solid commercial acumen
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders
