Stanthorpe Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its maternity team on a four-week contract from September to early October . Based in Stanthorpe, Queensland, this role offers the chance to work in a supportive clinical workplace while maintaining flexibility around your schedule. The position runs up to 80 hours per fortnight, with a salary range of AUD to AUD per hour. Travel costs from Brisbane are capped at $200 each way, making the commute manageable for candidates willing to relocate temporarily.

Preferred Requirements
n

Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
n
Demonstrated experience in midwifery group practice models
n
Competence in foetal surveillance and interpretation of cardiotocography
n
Practical cannulation skills and experience in intravenous access
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary maternity team
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by NMBA
n
Current Foetal Surveillance Education certification or willingness to complete accreditation
n
First Aid and CPR certification current at the time of commencement
