BLUE MOUNTAINS HIGH ALTITUDE ARCHAEOLOGY PROJECT
A research project about upper Blue Mountains Aboriginal occupation is planned in the Blue Mountains and Wollemi National parks between Gosper's Mountain and Gooches Crater, Lithgow City and Singleton LGAs. Aboriginal people holding cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal object(s) and/or place(s) in this area are invited to register an interest in a community consultation process by supplying a map of what Country they would like to speak for and/or detailing their connection to this area, to assist the applicant in the preparation of an AHIP application and to assist the Director General of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Workplace, and Water (DCCEEW)
in their consideration and determination of the application.
If you register your interest in this project, your details will be forwarded to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water (DCCEEW) and Bathurst Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC). If you do not wish for your details to be provided to these organisations, please us know.
