We are seeking experienced manufacturing machine operators to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Crestmead, working within a production team responsible for the manufacture and packaging of specialist cable products.
n
These are temp-to-perm opportunities with a well-established manufacturer offering ongoing training, career progression and secure employment for reliable operators with previous manufacturing experience.

Requirements for this position
n
n
Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing setting
n
Current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
n
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn detailed manufacturing processes
n
Robust attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
n
Ability to work within a fast-paced production setting
n
Physically fit and capable of regularly lifting 20kg+
n
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
n
Driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
n
Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
n




Cable manufacturing experience highly regarded but not essential
n

Tasks involved in this role
n
n
Machine setup, operation and shutdown
n
Operating multiple production machines throughout the manufacturing process
n
Monitoring product quality and maintaining production accuracy
n
Packing finished products for quality assurance testing
n
Working closely with the production team to achieve daily targets
n
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
Following all safety, quality and operational procedures
n
Assisting with general factory and production duties as required
n
n
Pay details and conditions
n
n
Day Shift: $*/hr
n
Afternoon/Night Shift: $*/hr
n
38-hour week worked across 4 days (Fridays off)
n
Weekly rotating roster - one week days, one week nights
n
Overtime paid for any hours worked outside rostered shifts
n
Training provided
n
Long-term temp-to-perm prospect
n
