Our client and valued partner,Samsung Electronics Australia, is seeking an innovativeData Scientistto join the Samsung Ads Analytics team on a12-month fixed-term contract, supporting AUNZ and Southeast Asia.
This is a unique opportunity to work with Samsung's proprietary data and cutting-edge AI-powered analytics to uncover insights, develop predictive models and identify opportunities that shape advertising strategy, consumer insights and monetisation.
What You'll Be Doing:
Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies and recent commercial opportunities.
Develop and validate statistical, predictive and machine learning models using Python and SQL.
Apply hypothesis testing, A/B testing and advanced analytics to solve complex business challenges.
Leverage Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Cortex AI and Claude Code to develop cutting-edge analytical solutions.
Translate complex technical findings into compelling insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Build automated analytical processes and support secure, reliable and high-quality data pipelines.




Collaborate with global Samsung Ads teams to share insights, best practices and drive data-led decision making.
What You'll Bring:
Previous experience in Data Science, Analytics or a related quantitative discipline.
Strong SQL and Python capability, with hands-on experience in statistical analysis and modelling.
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics or a related quantitative discipline.
Strong statistical foundation with experience across predictive modelling, regression, classification, clustering or time-series analysis.
Experience with BI and visualisation tools, ideally Tableau, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and dbt.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into explicit commercial insights.
A curious, proactive and adaptable mindset with the confidence to explore new technologies and AI-powered analytics.
