About the roles:

Scaffidi Group is currently recruiting for multiple Casual Pharmacy Assistants across our network of pharmacies in Port Augusta, including United Chemists Port Augusta, Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse Port Augusta, United Chemists Wharflands and United Chemists Westside. Each successful candidate will be based at a dedicated store location.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive and seamless experience for every customer who visits our store. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with the Retail Manager to ensure the store operates efficiently while delivering outstanding service. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where no two days are the same.

You will:

- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the right products for their needs




- Build positive relationships with customers and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere
- Maintain visually appealing shelves and displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment
- Ensure accurate pricing and clear product ticketing
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately at the register
- Assist with stock management, including receiving and organising deliveries

About You:

You are enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You enjoy working in a team environment and take pride in contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous pharmacy or retail experience (preferred but not essential)
- Experience handling cash and operating registers
- A strong customer-first mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A reliable and proactive work ethic
- A willingness to learn and grow within the business
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
