Join City of Moreton Bay as a Principal Transport Engineer . This is a senior, full-time role focused on providing expert engineering input into transport infrastructure projects to meet community needs, delivering concept designs, briefs, and project coordination for capital works.

Base pay range: A$112,000.00/yr – A$150,000.00/yr .

What you’ll do

- Provide expert advice grounded in best-practice transport design, standards, and Council policies.
- Assist in developing concept designs that respond to real user needs.
- Prepare and review detailed design briefs to guide internal and external teams.
- Collaborate across the team, coach and support other teammates, and manage time and stakeholder communications.
- Review civil engineering design plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards, ensuring value for money for the community.
- Certify engineering designs as an expert in your field.

About you / Qualifications

- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.




- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain within the first 12 months of employment.
- Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence .
