About Us

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and prospect. Are you energised by building relationships, influencing decision‑makers and creating meaningful employment opportunities? Do you understand the barriers faced by people with disability or chronic health conditions and know how to advocate for inclusive hiring with confidence? This role is all about employer engagement, business development, and championing inclusive employment across Hunter and Lower Hunter regions. - Relevant qualifications in Employment Services, Community Services or related areas are desirable.

What we offer

- Work–life balance with a 9‑day fortnight or accrued day off every 4 weeks (FT)
- Comprehensive training and opportunities for further tertiary study
