We are seeking an experiencedFinancial Modellerto build a robust, driver-based Excel financial model for an established financial services business. This is a hands-on project for a modeller who can take a business that currently relies heavily on Excel and manually assembled financial information and develop afit-for-purpose, integrated financial modelto support forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, business planning and funding requirements.

The initial focus will be on building a model that provides clear visibility across the business over a12–36 month forecast horizon, with the flexibility to test different growth and funding scenarios.You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand the business drivers, translate them into a practical modelling structure, and build a model that can be used as an ongoing planning and decision-support tool.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build a robust, integratedExcel-based financial modelfrom the ground up, translating key business and operational drivers into financial outcomes.
- Develop12–36 month forecasting and budgeting functionalityto support ongoing financial planning and management reporting.
- Build detailed modelling ofloan origination, portfolio growth, receivables, run-off and funding requirementsacross the business.
- Incorporate key operational drivers, including application volumes, approval rates, booking and activation rates,



origination volumes and portfolio growth assumptions.
- Develop modelling for thewholesale financing portfolio, including stock volumes, financing requirements and relevant business drivers.
- IntegrateP&L;, balance sheet, receivables and funding requirementsinto a coherent and dynamic financial model.
- Buildscenario and sensitivity analysisthat enables management to assess the financial impact of different growth, origination and portfolio assumptions.

About you

We are looking for an experienced financial modeller who has a robust track record of buildingintegrated, driver-based financial models in Excel.

You will ideally bring:

- Proven experience building financial models from the ground up
- Strong Excel modelling skills, including integrated P&L;, balance sheet and funding models
- Experience with consumer finance, lending, financial services, asset finance or similar portfolio-based businesses
- Strong understanding of receivables, funding requirements and funding costs
- Experience modelling loan origination, portfolio growth, run-off and scenario analysis
- Ability to translate operational business drivers into financial outcomes
- Strong commercial and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- A pragmatic approach to building models that are robust without becoming unnecessarily complex
