About the Role

Macmahon Underground is growing and expanding its footprint across Australia’s East Coast, creating exciting opportunities for experienced Jumbo Operators to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Operate Sandvik jumbo drill rig in a safe and effective manner
- Read and understand development designs and operational memos to guide work activities
- Carry out underground development activities,



including boring and installation of ground support
- Install various types of ground support, including split sets, resin bolts and mesh
- Contribute to all stages of the mining cycle, maintaining productivity and minimising downtime
- Provide clear and effective communication
- Contribute to our people‑first culture and live our Winning Values
- Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

What You’ll Bring

- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating the jumbo drill rigs
- Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
- A team mindset and reliable work ethic
- Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (highly desired)
- First Aid Certificate (highly desired)
