We are working with a federal government department that’s looking for a Security Engineer to join their Cybersecurity Operations team asap.
Security Engineer – Federal Government | NV1 Required
Responsibilities
- Analysing which platform logs actually have security value and making sense of them
- Building monitoring use cases that target the most important risks
- Designing alarms and alerts to enable speedier response
Qualifications
- NV1 security clearance (or eligibility) – Australian citizenship required
- Strong regex skills and experience writing custom parsers
- A background in security analysis and monitoring
- Experience with SIEMs like Sentinel or LogRythm
- Familiarity with ISM/PSPF standards
