Western Sydney Civil Contractor seeking an experienced Crew Leader to lead a civil construction crew and help deliver works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can coordinate daily site activities, manage workers and subcontractors, and keep allocated works moving in line with the project program.

The role

- Leading and coordinating a crew of approximately 6-15 workers and subcontractors
- Planning and sequencing allocated works
- Coordinating labour, plant and materials
- Monitoring productivity, workmanship and resource use
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Conducting pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inductions
- Completing site diaries, permits, photos and other required documentation
- Communicating progress, resource requirements and potential delays to site management
- Mentoring crew members and maintaining strong standards of conduct and performance

About you





- Experience leading crews within civil construction
- Strong practical knowledge of civil works and construction methods
- The ability to plan work, coordinate resources and keep crews productive
- Confidence reading construction drawings and specifications
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
- Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- A current driver's licence and White Card
- Relevant plant tickets or civil construction qualifications will be highly regarded
