WhiteLight AML is continuing to grow its specialist Financial Crime consulting and managed services capability, and we are looking to appoint experienced Financial Crime Consultants to support a key remediation engagement.
This initial 6-month contract opportunity working as part of a specialist WhiteLight delivery team on a significant Financial Crime programme.
We are particularly interested in candidates with previous casino or gaming experience and hands-on exposure across areas such as:
- UMR / UAR investigations
- SMR investigations and drafting
- Customer behaviour / gaming activity analysis
- Transaction Monitoring
- Remediation or backlog programmes

This initial 6-month contract opportunity working as part of a specialist WhiteLight delivery team on a significant Financial Crime programme.
We are particularly interested in candidates with previous casino or gaming experience and hands-on exposure across areas such as:
You will join a dedicated WhiteLight AML project team responsible for delivering a key piece of Financial Crime remediation work for a major Australian organisation.
The role will involve investigating unusual activity, documenting and dispositioning relevant red flags, completing detailed investigation outcomes and supporting the drafting of SMRs where required.
You will work alongside experienced Financial Crime specialists, Team Leads and QA resources within a structured managed‑service environment, with clear delivery and quality expectations.
About you
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous AML / Financial Crime investigation experience
- Strong UMR / UAR and/or SMR experience
- Experience drafting clear investigation narratives
- Previous casino or gaming experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF obligations
- Experience working within remediation or high-volume investigative environments
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
- Ability to work to both productivity and quality standards
Location
Sydney is strongly preferred, with the core project team expected to work closely together.
However, we are open to considering remote candidates with robust and directly relevant casino/gaming Financial Crime experience.
