Mount Isa, Queensland is a major regional centre in North West Queensland, providing essential healthcare and community services to a large and geographically dispersed population. This Consultant Psychiatrist – General Adult role offers the prospect to provide specialist mental health assessment, treatment, and ongoing care to adults across the region. Working in a regional setting, the psychiatrist will play an important role in supporting patients who may have limited access to specialist psychiatric services.

The position offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact on mental health care in remote and regional Queensland.

$2,700 per day 12 October to 31 December 2026 Travel allowance will be provided
