Leading aviation organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support key data governance initiatives, with a strong focus on data retention and disposal. This role will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to develop transparent, actionable requirements that guide the uplift of data management practices.

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Business Requirement Documents aligned to data retention schedules
- Identify and outline risks, dependencies, and exception conditions
- Translate business needs into structured data requirements for technical teams
- Facilitate workshops and engage effectively across business and technology groups

Skills and Experience

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement




- Ability to simplify complex information into clear, actionable outputs
- Experience in data governance or data management
- Technical understanding to support collaboration between technology and business

Nice to Have

- SQL knowledge
- Experience with Confluence and Jira
- Understanding of data quality identification for reporting
