Overview

SAP Commerce Cloud Technical Lead - Contract - Melbourne

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver scalable, secure e-commerce solutions on SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Guide development through hands-on coding, architecture design, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Mentor teams, manage delivery processes, and ensure best practices in performance and quality.
- Collaborate across stakeholder groups, translating business needs into technical excellence.
- Own the end-to-end technical roadmap—from requirement to production—with leadership and vision.

Core Skills & Technical Expertise

- SAP Commerce Cloud : SAP Commerce Cloud 2211, B2C accelerators, extensions, items.xml, Impex, FlexibleSearch, WCMS, Checkout, Payments, Promotions, Order and Return Management.
- Front-End : Spartacus (Angular), OCC API development, responsive UI/UX.
- Integration : SAP ERP/S4HANA, SAP CAR, OPPS, SAP CPI, payment gateways,



logistics and third party APIs.
- Backend : Java/JEE, Spring Framework, REST.
- Search & Performance : Solr configuration, caching, optimization for large catalogs.
- Security & Compliance : OWASP, PCI-DSS.
- DevOps & Tools : Maven, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kuberenetes, SAP Commerce Cloud Portal.
- Testing & Monitoring : JUnit, Mockito, Kibana, Dynatrace, Recent Relic.

Engagement Details

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
