As the OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader , you are expected to oversee the operations of the service, lead, guideand support a team which provides high quality education and care to school aged children.

We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader to join our successful and well-established service at Merewether Beach.

This position is being offered on a (maximum term) part-time basis until 29 October 2027.

Hours for vacation care programs operate between 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday (approx. 8 hours per day). It would be an expectation to be available for most of these shifts.

Desired Skills and Experience

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

- Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation




- Demonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the CCS (childcare subsidy system) and ability to perform software application for compliance
- Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Demonstrated ability to successfully support the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children with the centre curriculum
- Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education or OOSH Centre

QUALIFICATIONS

- Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate III in Children's Services (minimum of 3 years' experience) as identified by Australian Children's Education and care Authority
- Working with Children Check verification number
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
