FBT Transwest is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our Smithfield team. This full-time role is essential to the safe and efficient movement, storage and handling of Dangerous Goods (DG) and non-DG products within our warehouse operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment

- Loading, unloading, moving and storing goods while ensuring product integrity

- Handling DG and non-DG materials in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements

- Completing accurate inventory movements and assisting with stocktakes

- Following all workplace health and safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

- Working collaboratively with warehouse, transport and yard teams

- Performing general warehouse duties as required

About You





To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current and valid forklift licence

- Minimum 2 years’ forklift experience within a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment

- Experience handling DG products (highly desirable)

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- A strong commitment to safe work practices and following procedures
