About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our well-equipped workshop in Oxley, Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on a wide variety of engineering and fabrication projects. You will be part of a supportive team delivering quality solutions across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities





- Fabricate and assemble components from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform high-quality MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
- Weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape and prepare materials.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Carry out repairs, modifications and custom fabrication projects.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment in accordance with WHS requirements.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of the workshop team.

This is a full‑time position, working:

- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Friday: Early finish

About You

You will ideally have:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Welder, Fabricator or Boilermaker.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- Sound knowledge of fabrication processes, materials and welding equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- A positive attitude and strong team focus.
