EL2 Policy Analyst
Location: Candidates from across the country are welcomed.
Duration: 3 months with potential 9-month extension
Hourly Rate: $97 - $105 per hour
Clearance: Baseline
Travel - There may be the possibility travelling during the contract.
Our federal government client is seeking a senior policy professional with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic advisory capabilities.

Solid stakeholder engagement skills are essential, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will have the capability to analyse, interpret, and communicate complex economic, financial, or policy-related information in a clear and practical manner for diverse audiences, including senior decision-makers. An understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and the broader economic environment will support informed decision-making and strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support complex negotiations and contribute to the development of commercial agreements and strategic outcomes.
- Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, submissions,
and recommendations for senior leaders and key decision-makers.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to support organisational objectives.
- Analyse economic, financial, commercial, or policy-related information to inform strategic advice and decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional projects and facilitate collaboration to achieve desired outcomes.
- Manage external advisers, consultants, or specialist providers as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Business, Commerce, Law, or a related discipline.
Desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience leading negotiations and managing complex agreements or commercial arrangements.
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory roles.
