TRS Resourcing is seeking a Victorian A-Grade Electrician for a full-time opportunity with an established industrial equipment and project solutions business in Melbourne's western suburbs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrician looking to move beyond traditional electrical installation and maintenance work into a diverse, hands-on project environment.
The position combines industrial electrical work with mechanical assembly, equipment installation, testing and commissioning, giving you the opportunity to work on complete projects from initial assembly through to final completion.
The Role
Working within a well-equipped workshop, you will be involved in the assembly, electrical installation and commissioning of specialised industrial equipment and packaged systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Industrial electrical installation and wiring
- Control panel building and termination
- Wiring pumps, motors, sensors and control equipment
- Reading electrical drawings and schematics
- Electrical testing and commissioning
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Mechanical assembly and equipment installation
- Installing pumps, valves, pipework and associated components
- Hose and component installation
- Using hand and power tools
- Assisting mechanical trades with equipment builds
- Completing projects from initial assembly through to commissioning
- Identifying and resolving issues throughout the build process
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
What We're Looking For
This position would suit an A-Grade Electrician with industrial experience who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is interested in developing broader mechanical skills.
You don't need to be a qualified Mechanical Fitter. Training and support will be provided to develop your mechanical capabilities.
Ideally, you will have:
- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Electrical trade qualification
- Industrial electrical experience
- Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Valuable mechanical aptitude
- Experience with control panels, pumps, motors or industrial equipment is advantageous
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Willingness to undertake both electrical and mechanical tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and safety-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and within a trades team

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must hold a current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence, driver's licence and unrestricted Australian working rights.
