They are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical and Quality Nurse Advisor to join their Clinical Governance, Quality and Education team.

Based in their Corporate Office, this role incorporates regular travel to support their 26 business units throughout NSW.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Governance, Quality and Education, you will play a key role in strengthening clinical practice, quality systems and compliance across their aged care services.

This is an influential role for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about clinical governance, continuous improvement and supporting teams to deliver exceptional care.

You will provide high-level clinical and professional advice, contribute to evidence-based policies and procedures, analyse clinical data and lead initiatives that improve consumer safety, quality outcomes and organisational capability.

Key Responsibilities

In this diverse and rewarding role, you will:

- Provide expert clinical, quality and compliance advice across residential aged care, home care and retirement living services.

- Analyse clinical and quality data to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Support the development,



implementation and review of evidence-based clinical policies and procedures.

- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across the organisation.

- Support compliance activities and assist services with rectification and improvement strategies where required.

- Lead and contribute to organisation-wide clinical projects aimed at improving consumer outcomes.

- Conduct incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis.

- Identify clinical and organisational risks and support the development of effective mitigation strategies.

- Mentor, coach and support nursing teams to strengthen clinical capability.

- Contribute to education and development programs across the organisation.

- Promote a strong culture of consumer safety, quality, accountability and person-centred care.

- Prepare clear reports and provide clinical and quality information to management, committees and other stakeholders.

- Maintain current knowledge of aged care legislation, regulatory requirements and emerging industry developments.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with no limitations or banning orders.





- A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience within aged care in a similar position.

- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, aged care legislation and consumer rights.

- Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing and implementing evidence-based clinical policies and procedures.

- Experience in clinical governance, quality improvement and compliance.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret clinical data.

- Experience undertaking incident investigations and root cause analysis.

- Exceptional leadership, mentoring and coaching abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-level report writing.

- The ability to build robust relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

- A proactive and adaptable approach with strong organisational and time management skills.

- The ability to work independently and effectively across multiple locations.

- A current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel.

Highly Regarded

The following qualifications or experience will be highly regarded:

- Infection Prevention and Control qualifications.

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

- Quality Management qualifications.
