Are you an experienced Operations Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager / Project Manager with strong Class 2 remedial building experience and ready to take ownership of an established Queensland operation?

Our client is one of Australia's most respected Class 2 remedial building contractors, with 50+ years of industry success and offices across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra.

The Queensland business is already established, with an experienced team, existing project portfolio, robust client relationships, established systems and KPI's in place.

This role is about leading the existing Class 2 remedial building operation, maintaining its performance and continuing to drive growth across Queensland.

The Role

Based from the Brisbane office (Chermside), you'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the Queensland Class 2 remedial building business, working closely with the Sydney office and Senior Leadership Team. Remedial Building projects from $100k up to $15M dollars.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the existing QLD project, construction and administration teams
- Oversee the successful delivery of Class 2 remedial building projects
- Manage business performance against established KPIs, budgets and targets
- Provide leadership to Project Managers, Site Managers, Estimators and Contract Administrators
- Monitor project costs, margins, variations, claims and profitability
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, engineers, strata managers and key stakeholders
- Oversee tendering, estimating and new Class 2 remedial project opportunities
- Manage commercial, project, client and subcontractor issues
- Maintain key subcontractor, supplier and specialist trade relationships
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Lead, mentor and develop the existing team
- Support ongoing client management and business development within the Class 2 remedial building market




- Ensure the QLD operation follows established company systems and processes
- Take ownership of the overall financial and operational performance of the branch
- Act as the senior company representative in Queensland

The business specialises in technically challenging Class 2 remedial building projects, including:

- Concrete repair & concrete cancer remediation
- Waterproofing
- Balcony remediation & upgrades
- Structural strengthening & repair
- Façade restoration and remediation
- Combustible Cladding replacement
- Building refurbishment and remediation
- Commercial and residential Class 2 remedial works

- $200,000 - $250,000 Base Salary + Superannuation on top + Company vehicle or car allowance + Annual discretionary performance bonus + Company phone and laptop

About You

We're looking for an experienced construction skilled with strong builder-side Class 2 remedial building experience.

You may currently be an:

- Operations Manager
- Construction Manager
- Senior Project Manager (We will consider Project Managers wanting to progress their career as well)
- State/Branch Manager
- Remedial Building Manager

You'll need a strong understanding of Class 2 remedial building, together with proven leadership, commercial and client management skills. Class 2 Remedial Building experience is an essential requirement.

You should be capable of managing people, projects, clients and the overall operational and financial performance of an established remedial building business.
