About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Draftsperson to join our Engineering Department.
In this pivotal role, you’ll transform concepts into detailed fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with business, client, and Australian standards.

This position offers a diverse mix of design, technical drafting, and on-site engagement, ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into practical, buildable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D design concepts and preliminary drawings for project visualisation.

- Produce accurate and detailed 2D workshop drawings for fabrication.

- Conduct site visits to scope, measure, and capture data for design processes.

- Utilise 3D scanning technologies to collect and model precise site data.

- Create and manage DXF and STEP files for collaboration with clients and internal teams.

- Maintain an organised and accessible drawing file management system.

- Support estimating activities including scope development, material procurement,



and scheduling.

- Maintain strict safety standards and uphold Bryan Industries’ core values.

About You

You’re a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision and practical design. You work well both independently and in a collaborative team setting, and you’re ready to contribute to a company that values innovation and craftsmanship.

You’ll bring:

- Certificate III or IV in Engineering Drafting (or equivalent qualification).

- Must have Trade Experience.

- Strong proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D drafting.

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

- Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience in the manufacturing or fabrication industry (advantageous).
