Moriah College is a vibrant co-educational Early Learning – Year 12 Jewish Day School located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. We are seeking an engaging and experienced English teacher to join our English team and inspire students through high-quality teaching and learning. This is a full time, permanent position teaching Stage 6 HSC English, with the opportunity to support senior students to achieve their potential and develop a genuine appreciation for the subject.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Inspire students to strive for personal excellence while contributing to Moriah College’s vibrant culture of academic achievement, curiosity and values.
- Provide high-quality, differentiated teaching and learning programs and activities that are contextually relevant and promote independent learning.
- Integrate ICT and digital learning tools into teaching and learning.
- Work as a collaborative and reflective member of the Faculty.
- Participate in the co-curricular life of the College.
- Be committed to ongoing professional learning.

Experience Required

- Proven track record of teaching Stage 6 HSC English.
- NESA accreditation to teach in your relevant field.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Relevant teaching experience in a high school setting, with a passion for learning and teaching.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing educational best practice within your subject area.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- A strong work ethic, displaying determination, self-motivation and curiosity.
