Lead safety, own the outcomes. breadsolutions is looking for an experienced OHS Manager to drive a genuinely proactive safety culture across our manufacturing sites – a role where your expertise will directly shape how our people get home protected, every day.

This is a key leadership role with genuine autonomy and the backing of a business that takes safety seriously, in a stable and growing Australian manufacturing company

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the OHS Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of Occupational Health & Safety across our Braeside and Dandenong sites. You'll take ownership of our OHS management systems and compliance obligations, lead investigation and risk management processes, and act as the site's key point of contact and advisor to leadership on all things safety. This is a hands-on, highly visible role suited to someone who wants to make a real and measurable difference to safety outcomes in a manufacturing environment.

Occupational Health & Safety

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the site's OHS management systems, policies and procedures.

• Ensure ongoing compliance with the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and Regulations 2017, and all other relevant legislative requirements.

• Conduct and oversee risk assessments across site operations, identifying hazards and implementing effective controls.

• Lead thorough,



structured investigations into incidents and near-misses, and drive corrective and preventative actions through to completion.

Reporting & Communication

• Provide regular, accurate OHS reporting and advice to the COO and broader leadership team.

• Support and help drive the effectiveness of the site's Safety Council, EHS Committee meetings and other consultative forums.

People

• Coach, mentor and build the safety capability of leaders and Team Members across the business.

• Champion a positive, engaged safety culture, and support Return to Work outcomes for injured workers.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and lead opportunities to continuously improve safety systems, processes and performance across the site.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51319) or higher, or a bachelor's/postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior OHS/WHS management role, ideally within manufacturing or food production.

• Current, working knowledge of the Victorian OHS Act 2004 and OHS Regulations 2017.

• Demonstrated experience implementing OHS management systems, conducting risk assessments and leading incident investigations.

Desirable

• Accredited Return to Work Coordinator.

• ICAM incident investigation training.

• Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID011).
