Job Description

Our Surgical Wards play a critical role in the pre and post operative care of patients from one of Queensland’s largest privately owned operating theatres. From orthopaedics, urology, neuro/ spinal, and plastics, you will be supporting some of Australia’s leading clinical treatments.

We are looking for passionate Enrolled Nurses to be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, performing comprehensive clinical assessments, and managing complex recovery pathways tailored to your specific specialty.

Whether you’re navigating the fast-paced turnover of a short-stay ward or the intricate post-operative requirements of neurosurgical and complex colorectal patients, you will leverage your clinical expertise to ensure safety,



promote rehabilitation, and contribute to a collaborative environment committed to excellence in patient outcomes.

- Positions available across Ward 35 (Colorectal) , Ward 25 (Urology/ Gynaecology), Ward 47 (Orthopaedics) Ward 21 (Orthopaedics/ Pain) , Ward 37 (ENT/ Plastics), Ward 13 (Short Stay Surgical – Monday to Friday) and Ward 41 (Neurosurgery) Please indicate if you have a preference

About You

- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (IV Qualified)
- Minimum 12 months’ post graduate experience working in an acute surgical setting
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to thrive in a varied and quick-paced workplace

Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.45 - $39.96 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD EEN Gr1-Gr6*)
