About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EL1 Business Analyst to drive complex process, platform and practice solutions across the service design lifecycle.
In this strategic yet hands-on role, you will lead end-to-end business analysis, translate broad requirements into actionable user stories and partner closely with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to elevate delivery outcomes. You will collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to establish baseline business processes, facilitate continuous improvement and ensure built solutions align strictly with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Analysis & Design: Identify and document current business processes to establish baseline understanding and lead design improvements through comprehensive systems analysis.
- Agile & Requirements Elaboration: Support Product Owners and SMEs by defining user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed process maps while assisting with internal systems operations.
- Solution Transition & Verification: Lead the handover of business requirements to technical build teams and conduct verification testing to confirm alignment with design specs.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation: Actively manage key internal and external relationships, represent organisational interests in cross-functional forums and resolve complex issues.
- Governance & Team Leadership: Evaluate solution effectiveness, assist team leadership with resource planning and maintain risk identification and mitigation controls.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Business Analysis & Mapping: Demonstrated expertise conducting complex business process analysis, mapping current vs. future states and establishing clear operational baselines.
- Requirements Management: Robust background in supporting Product Owners, elaborating user stories, defining acceptance criteria and managing technical handovers.
- Solution Verification: Proven capability in evaluating solution designs and leading verification testing to ensure delivered systems meet targeted business needs.
- Stakeholder Negotiation & Collaboration: Demonstrated experience building collaborative partnerships, engaging across multi-disciplinary teams and negotiating outcomes in complex environments.
- Systems Proficiency: High-level proficiency with corporate enterprise tools, CRM systems and standard business applications (Microsoft Office suite).
- Risk Management & Leadership: Sound understanding of risk evaluation and team coordination under broad direction within structured governance frameworks.
