We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Casual Barista to join our café team in Mordialloc. As the face of our coffee experience, you will deliver consistently high-quality beverages while creating a warm, welcoming environment for every customer.

What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based coffee, teas and specialty beverages
- Delivering friendly and efficient customer service in a fast-paced café environment
- Maintaining consistency in coffee quality, presentation and service standards
- Supporting front of house operations and assisting with daily café service
- Handling POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards
- Assisting with stock control, restocking and monitoring supplies
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
Café Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
- Weekends: 8am to 3pm
- Occasional evening work for events
We are looking for someone that is available and flexible to work weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications / Experience Essential
- Previous Barista experience essential
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player with a willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- POS system experience desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- HLTFSE001 – Follow Basic Food Safety Practices
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
Requirements
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum 3 doses)
- 2026 Influenza vaccination
- Must have a current valid Police National Criminal History Check
- Aged care experience is highly regarded
- Full working rights in Australia
