The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team delivering a major residential development project.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the project. From procurement and subcontract administration through to cost management and variations, you will help drive project performance while mitigating commercial risk and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Prepare, assess and negotiate variations, claims and extensions of time
- Administer procurement processes and subcontract packages
- Monitor contract compliance and identify commercial risks
- Prepare progress claims, payment assessments and cost reports
- Support project forecasting, budgeting and cost control activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders




- Assist in the resolution of contractual and commercial issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and company procedures

About You

- 4+ years' experience in a Contract Administrator role within commercial construction
- Experience working on projects valued at $50M+
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and cost management
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and solid organisational capability
- Residential, apartment or social housing project experience highly regarded
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
