Graduate Finance Assistant (Korean-speaking)

Our client is a well-established global organisation with operations across multiple markets and a robust international presence. The company offers a professional and collaborative working environment where employees have the opportunity to develop their skills while working with teams across the business.

We are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join the Sydney team. This is an excellent prospect for an accounting or finance graduate looking to start their career, as well as candidates with previous accounts experience who are ready to take the next step.

About the Opportunity

Working closely with the Finance & Accounting team, you will support a broad range of day-to-day accounting activities, including:

- Supporting general accounting processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations

- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities

- Processing invoices, payments and employee expense claims

- Performing credit card and account reconciliations

- Supporting intercompany and internal recharge processes

- Maintaining accurate financial and transactional records

- Assisting with vendor setup and maintaining supplier and banking information

- Supporting budgeting,



forecasting and financial reporting activities

- Assisting with GST reconciliations and audit-related requirements

- Preparing financial reports, spreadsheets and ad-hoc analysis as required

- Providing general administrative and accounting support to the wider Finance team

About You

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and keen to build a career in finance.

You will ideally have:

- A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline

- Recent graduates are welcome to apply

- Previous experience in accounts, finance or administration is advantageous but not essential

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Confidence working with numbers and financial data

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Qualified-level Korean and English communication skills

- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

Experience with an ERP or accounting system such as SAP is advantageous, but not essential.
