Kerry Rocks is a contemporary Australian jewellery brand that honors femininity through powerful pieces made with ethically sourced gemstones. Our artisanal craftsmanship merges ancient Etruscan techniques with modern elegance, inspired by our journeys in India and Greece.

Led by gemologist Kerry Beard, our collections feature bold, sculptural designs that blend tradition with contemporary style.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time position (40 hours), including one weekend day in a creative and thriving female led business. We seek a passionate person who has worked within the jewellery industry and has knowledge of gemstones, customisation and bespoke.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a natural flair for offering exceptional personalised customer service, proven organisational skills, and sound knowledge of fine jewellery and gemstones. This is a multifaceted role, where you will be responsible for providing a memorable and personalised experience for customers in-store and online.

You'll be based in our William Street studio working alongside the founder Kerry Beard, the sales and marketing team who can support you to thrive and grow in your position.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of five years experience working within high-end retail, and be available to work one weekend day a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Welcoming and upselling to customers in the store

- Supporting customers across all touchpoints, including online enquiries via email, phone and live chat

- Build client database





- Instore and online order processing and invoicing

- Managing end-to-end jewellery orders

- Conducting bespoke instore appointments and guiding them through the customisation process, and preparing independent custom quotes

- Maintain store presentation and visual displays

AD HOC DUTIES

Will not be limited to, but you will be involved in some of the following

- Projects to assist store management i.e. sales systems, excel sheets for sales reports in store

- Processing of goods going in and out of the store i.e. preparing production for gold-plating and deliveries

- Liaising with production teams and overseeing the progress of made-to-order pieces and engagement rings, including resizing and replating services

- Stock & inventory control

ABOUT YOU

- [3+years] experience in luxury jewellery retail is essential

- An understanding of gemstones, fine jewellery and bespoke services

- Passionate about providing personalised customer service to create memorable experiences with our loyal clientele

- Driven by sales targets and a positive can-do attitude toward sales

- Demonstrates a creative flair and exceptional attention to detail

- A natural self-starter and demonstrate daily pro-active thinking

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Must have experience with Shopify
