The Role
BreastScreenNT is seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to provide statewide clinical leadership across our mammography services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring women across the Northern Territory have access to safe, high-quality breast screening and assessment services.
Based in Darwin, you will work across fixed and mobile screening services, with opportunities to support services in Alice Springs and other locations as required.
As the Designated Radiographer and Joint Lead PACS Administrator, you will have a significant role in clinical governance, imaging quality, accreditation, professional supervision and continuous improvement across BreastScreenNT.
In this senior clinical leadership role, you will:
- Provide expert clinical leadership and advice in mammography
- Establish and maintain high standards
- Work closely with the Designated Radiologist to monitor and improve imaging quality
- Provide skilled supervision,
support and guidance to radiographers
- Contribute expert advice to the multidisciplinary assessment team
- Lead clinical governance activities and support compliance with BreastScreen Australia accreditation standards
- Support the effective use of PACS, digital radiography and associated IT systems
- Work across BreastScreenNT locations, including the mobile screening unit across the NT
On Offer:
- Employment: Full time, fixed for 12 months
- Salary: $132,408 - $147,919
- + 12% Super
